Calibration

At ConNet, we offer calibration packages tailored to fit your specific video and audio system needs. Measurements are taken via the newly released Sencore OTC1000 ColorPro Optical Color Analyzer laboratory grade Tri-Stimulus Colorimeter. Test patterns are supplied via the Sencore VP-403C generator as well as from Sencore Auto CalPro 6500, Sony PVM-96 Monochrome monitor & Avia Pro Calibration Software. Audio Calibration are taken with State of the Art Sencore SP295 Sound Pro Audio Analyzer. Signals are generated with Sencore's DAG 5161 newest Surround Pro Digital Audio Generator Pre and post calibration readings are documented using Sencores exclusive Video and Audio System Field Report software.

Tier-1 Video calibration package - $200

Our Tier-1 calibration package is designed for anyone on a budget and/or for smaller digital displays with a limited amount of picture controls. Please contact us to see if this package would be right for your particular system.

Tier-2 Video calibration package - $299

Our Tier-2 calibration package is designed for anyone wanting to attain 100% performance from their DVTV, non-Samsung DLP, LCD, LCoS, or Plasma display.

Cables checked to ensure proper system connectivity.
Proper set-up of DVD & STB player parameters.
Vertical & horizontal image centering (if applicable).
Digital Convergence (if applicable).
Neutralization of any controls that might adversely affect picture quality.
D6500 color temperature reference standard setting for color presentation.
Gamma adjustment (if applicable).
Optimization of brightness, contrast, color, tint, and sharpness for all inputs used.
Color decoder adjustment (if applicable).
Pre and post-calibration report given to client.
Options discussed for enhancing picture quality further.
Overscan adjustment (if applicable).
Mechanical ring focus adjustment (if needed).
Index delay adjustment (if applicable).
Disablement of DNIe circuitry.
Acturator gain adjustment.
Precise iris adjustment (if applicable).
Color primaries and secondaries aligned to SMPTE C system standards.
